Online Surgical Technologists Educational Events

Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) & Certified Surgical First Assistants (CSFAs) who complete current courses designated for AST credit, prior to the expiration date of that activity, will be awarded AST credit. All other non-certified surgical technologists & healthcare professionals will be awarded IACET credit.

We regret to inform learners that the ‘Association of Surgical Technologists (AST)’ has elected to no longer approve courses for credit, when the education is provided by companies who receive grant funds from commercial entities (e.g., grants from medical device, pharmaceutical companies).  Pfiedler Enterprises receives grant funds from commercial sources, remains transparent in this aspect, and in compliance with national Standards for Commercial Support regarding use of funds, noninfluence, disclosure and implementation.  Due to AST’s new policy, however, no new courses will be approved for AST credit.

The offerings below are complete, accredited continuing education programs developed specifically for presentation on the internet.
